Sonnet 46
But don’t you see how narrow is your mind?
To see not what we made as only one.
How can you thus undoubtedly deny
That we remain, undying, like the sun.
Had I not gone, you would have never writ
My love as though remembering-obsessed.
Unfading am I now. Unchanging lit.
Despite not knowing how we might progress.
It is, therefore, perfection where we stay
A star-crossed love, forever in the sky
The years condemn not us, for we remain
I am forever yours and you are mine
The universe could never be too wide
No matter what, I’ll be here by your side.
